1982 FXWG and 1969 Early Shovel by Hide Motorcycle

I know they are not the last bikes built by Hidemo, but I love them.

The first one was displayed at the NEW ORDER CUSTOM SHOW 2008, Kobe, while the second one was displayed at the HOT ROD CUSTOM SHOW 2009, Yokohama.

On the 1982 FXWG, I especially like the contrast between the front and the back wheels size, the integration of the speedometer in what looks to be an aluminum panel and also the from light panel.

On the 1969 Early Shovel, the narrow tank fit just perfectly and the handlebar is one of my favorite part; it looks that simple.

R 9T custom project - BMW Japan - Video

I can watch it over and over... and I am not really a BMW fanatic. ^_^

R 9T custom project - BMW Japan - first shooting

The photos from the first official shooting have been published this weekend.
I followed the progress of these four builders from the BMW Japan R nineT Custom Project webpage and I got very often amazed by the hand work they have accomplished. So I knew the final result will be beyond my expectations.
These bikes are so deeply modified with unique hand made parts and their designs are so far from the original one that it's hard to see they are the same bikes.
It's obvious that these four Japanese builders did more than just changing the color, the tires, the seat cover and the mufflers... -_^
For sure we have a lot to learn from these genius builders.
The photos are from BMW Motorrad Facebook page.

R nineT custom project - BMW Japan - They are done...

According to the following picture posted by Shiro Nakajima from 46Works, the four R niteT are done.

A first shooting was organized at the end of July but no pictures have been published yet or simply I didn't find them. ^_^

It seems that the four R9t will be displayed publicly at the BMW Motorrad Days Japan 2014 on 30 and 31 of August.

I can't wait to see more about them...

R9t custom project

Last year we all saw the promotion video of the new BMW R nineT involving Roland Sands, El Solitario, Blitz Motorcycles and Urban Motor. Few days ago a similar project has been announced in Japan involving Brat Style, Hide Motorcycle, Cherry's Company and 46Works. Three of the four Japanese builders are usually working on HD, old British bikes, SR or XS but not really on BMW. I am really looking forward to see what they are going to build.

Put your knees on the ground...

This nice bike "Racing Sportster" was built by a well-known great custom shop: HIDE MOTORCYCLE CUSTOM.

I like this video, as the song is nice, the bike looks great and he put the knees on the ground.

Who said it is not possible to put the knees on the ground with a HD? So you were wrong... ^_^

I just regret not to hear the sound of the bike
