This new XS650 built by Custom Vintage Motorcycles is awesome.
The builder explains in is blogs, that he added fork covers, a custom rear fender and also fabricated original handlebars and a small brown seat. I love this color on a seat, and it fit very well with the paint job: Silverstone Racing Green with hand painted pinstripe.
The gas tank P-Nut sold by Lowbrow Customs fits perfectly.
Both wheels are in 18” with vintage Firestone tires, nice.

Special post for a friends...
A friend told me a few days ago he was thinking to modify a bit his Ducati SS900.
So I did a quick search on Internet and see below what I found. WOW...
They are not exactly the same 900SS than my friend has, but they are very good sources of inspiration.
What are you waiting Franco? ^_^

Motomethod, Vancouvers Community Motorcycle Repair Shop
This motorcycle repair shop called Motomethod is not like the other shops. They call themselves Community Motorcycle Repair Shop because you can use their tools and their bike lifts to work on your bike. They can also help you or teach you mechanic stuff if you need. The membership fee is only $100; it's very interesting price compare to a “standard” repair shop. Also a good thing is that you can do it yourself.
As far as I know, these kinds of Community are not very common. If there was one like this around my home, I’ll be there almost every day… ^_^
Watch the nice video.

HRCS - Best of British Custom Chopper & Bobber
During the 20th Hot Rod Custom Show the "Best of British Custom Chopper & Bobber" award was accorded to Heiwa Motorcycle (Mr. Kimura) for their ’58 Norton Model 50.
I completely agree with this choise. When I saw this Norton at the show, I spent several minutes checking it. It's an awesome bike. The next 4 pics are some of the photos I took there.
I love the tail light...
...and the holes on the fork covers... Very nice.
The next pics are from the Heiwa blog. They show details of the building steps.
Congratulation Heiwa Morotcycle!!!

Shinya Kimura... a great bike builder and a real artist
The bikes created by Shinya Kimura always impress me. When I see details of his work I am amazed by the ideas he has, the originality of his work and by how he uses thinks not necessarily related to bikes to make parts that look in the right place on the final bike.
The Neptune, made on 2009-2010, is outstanding. I love it.
On his website you can see that he also create other things than bikes, and they are extremely nice too…
