Vintage full face helmets…

At this time if we want to have a new helmet with a vintage style, the only legal solution in Europe is to get an open face. What about the full face helmets? Why nobody makes an authorized full face vintage helmet? Is it hard or impossible to make a legal one???

During my long Internet researches, I found a lot of comments from people that are also dreaming to get a full face vintage helmet. I am not alone…

Actually, I found some during my trips to Japan, but they are not authorized in Europe and often they make only one size and they are too small for my big head. ^_^

There is also one model made in Germany and now also one in US (in collaboration with a Japanese company if I am not wrong) but still they are not authorized in Europe. Another solution is to find a real old helmet, but in my opinion they should be used as decoration or collection, rather than use as helmets...

Here is some pictures of the models I found. If you find others or if you know one that is authorized, please let me know… ^_^

The Born Free Show - RideApart

"Choppers, bobbers, rat-bikes, vintage cafe racers and every kind of wild oddity in between, nobody does American custom hot-rod culture for bikes on the West Coast like the annual Born Free show in Irvine, Ca. Jamie Robinson wades into a sea of black leather, denim, burly beards, Daisy Dukes and thousands of motorcycles to see what it's all about."

Free4Style 2012...

Like every year in July, I went to the Free4Style festival. It is a great freestyle festival in Estavayer-le-Lac, Switzerland. There is Wakeboard, Jet Ski and FMX (my favourite…). ^_^

As usual the show was amazing. They got many great rides such as Mat Rebeaud (the local star), Levi Sherwood, Drake McElroy, Nick DeWitt, Martin Koren, Jimbo Verbrugh, Busty Wolter, Thamer Engeli…

Hangar Rockin' 2012

Last weekend with some friends we went by motorbike to Hangar Rockin' 2012 in St Stephan Switzerland. The roads are extraordinary around there: the Jaunpass has lot of nice curves and a very nice views on the Alps.

Unfortunately we couldn't stay long there because the weather became bad; it started to rain hard and to hail...

There were Rock’n’Roll bands playing live, Hot Rods, Kustoms, Classic/Vintage Cars and Motorbikes, old school Vespas, old airplanes, and a 1/8 Mile Run...
