R 9T custom project - BMW Japan - first shooting

The photos from the first official shooting have been published this weekend.

I followed the progress of these four builders from the BMW Japan R nineT Custom Project webpage and I got very often amazed by the hand work they have accomplished. So I knew the final result will be beyond my expectations.

These bikes are so deeply modified with unique hand made parts and their designs are so far from the original one that it's hard to see they are the same bikes.

It's obvious that these four Japanese builders did more than just changing the color, the tires, the seat cover and the mufflers... -_^
For sure we have a lot to learn from these genius builders.

R nineT custom project - BMW Japan - They are done...

According to the following picture posted by Shiro Nakajima from 46Works, the four R niteT are done.

A first shooting was organized at the end of July but no pictures have been published yet or simply I didn't find them. ^_^

It seems that the four R9t will be displayed publicly at the BMW Motorrad Days Japan 2014 on 30 and 31 of August.

I can't wait to see more about them...

Brat Style R nineT vintage MX

On the Nicest people blog I saw the following pictures of the R nineT built by the famous Japanese shop Brat Style.

They were taken at the "Hell On Wheels takes Japan", a Vintage MX Rally.

I'm amazed by the result. It's hard to see that it's a 2014 R nineT. It looks so light and fun that I want to ride it right now. ^_^

R9t custom project

Last year we all saw the promotion video of the new BMW R nineT involving Roland Sands, El Solitario, Blitz Motorcycles and Urban Motor. Few days ago a similar project has been announced in Japan involving Brat Style, Hide Motorcycle, Cherry's Company and 46Works. Three of the four Japanese builders are usually working on HD, old British bikes, SR or XS but not really on BMW. I am really looking forward to see what they are going to build.

El año pasado todos hemos visto el video promocional de la nueva BMW RnineT en el que participan Roland Sands, El Solitario, Blitz Motorcycles y Urban Motor. Hace unos pocos días, un proyecto similar ha sido anunciado en Japón en el que participan Brat Style, Hide Motorcycle, Cherry's Company and 46Works. Tres de los cuatro preparadores japoneses trabajan generalmente sobre HD, viajes motos inglesas, SR o XS, pero no realmente sobre BMW. Tengo muchas ganas de ver lo que van a construir.

L'année dernière nous avons tous vu la vidéo promotionnelle de la nouvelle BMW R nineT à laquelle participaient Roland Sands, El Solitario, Britz Motorcycles et Urban Motor. Il y a quelques jours, un projet similaires a été annoncé au Japon auquel participent Brat Style, Hide Motorcycle, Cherry's Company et 46Works. Trois des quatre préparateurs japonais travaillent généralement sur HD, vieilles anglaises, SR ou XS, mais pas vraiment sur BMW. Je suis vraiment impatient de voir ce qu'ils vont construire.
