Speedometer bracket for a friend’s Cafe Racer project... Update

I finally found a moment to try the bracket on my friend's Cafe Racer.
I'm glad, it fits well. ^_^
And the most important, my friend is very happy with it.

Lately I have been giving a hand to a friend on wiring his Café Racer project based on a Ducati 900 SS.
To keep the top triple clamp clean he had the idea of fixing a mini speedo and the indicator lights on the clip-on handlebar, and so he needed a special bracket...

Without telling him, I drew a sketch on a piece of paper and started cutting the alloy with my hacksaw. After several hours of hand work it is almost done.
Despite the few difficulties I had due to the poor equipment and tools I have, the bracket doesn't look too bad but I still need to try on the bike...

A friend told me a few days ago he was thinking to modify a bit his Ducati SS900.
So I did a quick search on Internet and see below what I found. WOW...

They are not exactly the same 900SS than my friend has, but they are very good sources of inspiration.
